2 tickets on StubHub, refund

I purchased 2 tickets on StubHub in November for the Regional Basketball playoffs in late March in LA. Then the coronavirus situation resulted in that event being cancelled for spectators in mid-March. StubHub offered a refund or credit for 120% of the value. I opted for the refund. I just received it today, credited to my card. I did get a couple of emails from StubHub keeping me informed on my refund, with the final email about 4 days ago saying my refund will appear within 5 days. A couple of weeks after things started to get cancelled StubHub did change their cancellation policy saying they would only offer a credit for 120% of the amount, no refunds.

I don't typically write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one after the experience I received from a Stubhub customer rep named Shadaye G. from the Jamaica division. I had a unique situation where I could have had to pay upwards of $6k in tickets as a seller, but Shadaye was able to thoroughly work with the buyers and myself to resolve this issue. She went above and beyond her job description, by contacting both the buyers and myself to resolve the issue. She was prompt in her execution and very knowledgeable. She truly cared that my issue was resolved and the buyers' tickets weren't compromised. Based on my experience with Shadaye, my view of Stubhub is an A+, and I think she definitely deserves a raise. Thanks Shadaye!

My Experience

My rating is based on overall experience. I purchased 2 tickets to see The Lumineers 3 days before checking that we were expected to have a snowstorm. In a panic, I searched my options such as, selling the tickets but first and foremost, asking for a refund since I bought the tickets in USD (they would be converted to CAD on my bill). After calling customer service, bad weather is not a valid reason to receive a refund. I truly ask that you be weary of this! I am grateful that the weather was OK enough to drive but still, it was a risky move. I am also grateful that the tickets were not fake as I, again, did not do my research to know that Stubhub resells tickets although you are covered if your tickets are fake.

life savers

So booked tickets for a Knicks game in NYC, had my tickets delivered to my hotel upon arrival and 2 days of loading with the hotel it became apparent that my hotel had lost my tickets $300 worth. So I visited Stub Hun box office explained the situation and they helped rectify it. I can’t express the gratitude from the staff in there to help me out. They didn’t have to do what they did but as a good will gesture and an enormous amount of trust in me we got to go to the game after all. If travelling to NYC collect your tickets from their box office don’t make the same mistake as I did and trust the hotel to keep hold of your tickets. Thank you Stub hub.

Never had an Issue in 8 years

Have purchased tons of tickets from StubHub for concerts all throughout my fake e-girl phase when I was seeing Halsey and The 1975. Now I use them for K-Pop concerts. I’ve bought BlackPink and Monsta X tickets 2 years in a row. Never had any issue with them and my tickets were always valid. I also sell tickets through StubHub if I have to. Probably my go-to ticket purchasing if I’m unable to get tickets via TicketMaster first.

No issues from me obviously being an…

No issues from me obviously being an Everton fan for all our home games it’s legal and regulated so if there’s ever any issues the club will sort you out but Obviously we are one of the only clubs sponsored by them I could see this being a disaster for otherS though as twice they messed up and gave me kids tickets but I could upgrade no problem To adult tickets, for away games or other clubs not affiliated with stubhub you wouldn’t be able to do this.

I bought tickets for a certain section…

I bought tickets for a certain section but when they sent the tickets it was a totally different section. I called to get answers and was told the new section was an upgrade and the seller would give me $150 to trade them. For this particular show these seats were not an upgrade in my opinion so i said no. the solution was putting me in a side section which was also not near as good then the seller refused to give me a discount. I called again because the tickets i now have are actually half the cost of my original section so i wanted the discount and was refused by the seller. It was total bs. Then I contacted StubHub on Facebook through messenger and they actually gave me $150 credit for a future purchase and refunded my Service fee for the trouble since the seller wouldn't do anything.

I do not have anything bad to say about this company . I brought the tickets and I received two instant emails and then on the next e-mail they would let me know when they would be dispatched . Within 3 days I received my tickets and I went last night and had no issues with the tickets or my seat . Perfect , I would defiantly use this company again. Thank you Sam
