This review is about their customer service and policies, which are generally shady at best.In a strange tale, I recently fell victim to the Match.com auto renew for $155 dollars because I didn't know (forgot) my account was expiring, I never even received a warning email ! Previously by cancelling your account early you'll always get a renew offer at around $50 for a full year instead, they expect most people will forget and just get auto renewed for full charge. I had recently had my account settings set to not auto renew but the system likely changed it back to default 'yes' whenever the site updates or your account changes. Lame. Always check your settings. Anyways, call it a Xmas miracle but they actually refunded my auto renew amount no questions asked. A few days later my bank account shows it happened. All I did was send two messages to customer service through their online website customer service form. I did firmly state I was going to dispute the charge with my bank, didn't even have to try and call customer service by phone. Two days later I received a confirmation email from customer service that said I was being refunded even though my setting for auto renew was on at the time. So YES, you CAN get a refund from Match.com for mistakenly forgetting to turn off auto renew.

Back in 2017 I am met a guy on Match. Of course I made the first move and I messaged him, I loved how fast he message back using this website was super easy. Don’t get me wrong the first month or so I did not think it was going to work out. One night I was bored and I was going through all the matches. Well, I seen a picture of the sky and what first drawled me to him was his eyes and smile. After a few messages back-and-forth we trade at numbers. We went on our first date a month after we met each other. Or in October 24, 2020 I married the guy. We have been together for almost 4 years and I couldn’t be any happier with who I married. Thanks to match.com they found my soulmate,At least the website found him to where I found him. Would definitely recommend this a five star.

Been using Match a while ago. Worked for me, no complaints! Obviously, it really depends on what you lookin' for. If you just wanna have a fun time try Yamvoo or Tinder. People are much more open here. If you are seeking a real long term relationship Match is one of the best options you'll find. Period!

I am going to take this to the media. Absolutely disgraceful site. Someone needs to do something. If you Google complaints contact numbers they are all fake.

I contacted Match.com customer services to outline my concerns. I did not think that it was worth the money, all of the profiles are fake and guess what they refunded me. I woke up this morning to find extra money in my bank account. Match.com is like every other business model out there. They don't care about finding us happiness but we do deserve to be happy and if you're not then take your business elsewhere because they will be more than happy in taking your money for something that isn't even real.Match.com is a business but do what I did and call them out for it, get angry. Tell them the situation. I've been given a refund because would rather use the money to give myself a happier life rather than waste it on Match.com

A friend found match.com for me because he didnt want me to spend the rest of my life alone. I had been alone for four years prior to him sending me your site.After about two weeks after receiving your site from my friend. I decided to give it a try.I sent a message to a gentleman name John ( fake name he used). John sent me a message back with his email address so we could communicate that way. After about a month we decided to meet. Of course I took a friend with me. John was such a gentleman. At the time he was working at a campground so we met there. We sat on a picnic table and chatted for quite awhile. We decided to go for a walk along the beach. This is where he asked me to be his girlfriend. Of course I said yes. Make a long story short, he moved in with me 5 months later, two year later he asked me to marry him. Two year later we were married. We have been married now going on happily twenty years. I wouldnt know what my life would be without him. We are so compatible. We think alike can finish each others sentences.Match.com we would like to thank you for your site or we would of never met. I have thanked our friend now many times for insisting I shouldn't be alone for the rest of my life

I was on match 3 or 4 years ago. I was lucky enough to find someone however, it ended after 3 years, ( not my fault ). I've decided to go back to match and try again. And lo and behold, there are the same old profiles that were there when I first subscribed. Are these fake profiles ? I'm not sure, maybe they are just unlucky. The jury is out.

Tried a lot of dating sites. This one wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Features and profiles just weren't my cup of tea. Preferred others.

Reading through all these negative reviews I'm pleased to say that I met the most fabulous gentleman in September 2014 we go engaged Feb 2015 and finally got married last year 2018 September 15th.. We celebrate our first anniversary on Sunday.... Sometimes it doesn't happen over night... I was fortunate to sign up when they had a week free offer... And he was the only one I chatted to... Thank you match.com I met my life long partner, soul mate and best friend because of you

About a month before my 3 month subscription expired I found a partner, so cancelled the renewal of my subscription.I received an email containing " This email is to confirm that the automatic renewal of your subscription has been cancelled as requested. Of course, you will continue to have access to all of the services you have selected until your existing subscription expires."But Match still debited my card on the renewal date, and despite and email from me, and a message on their site message board,I HAVE YET TO RECEIVED A REFUND.
