My biggest complaint is pricing but that’s because I’m looking for cheap hosting for my basic website. Pricing is average compared to other services

We're a small company and we have two websites. We switched over to Inmotion hosting about a year ago at the suggestion of our webdesigner. We have had to call customer service a couple of times for basic stuff and questions and they have always been extremely easy to work with and thorough. We also like that we can get an actual HUMAN BEING on the phone as opposed to other sites we've worked with where you are generally stuffed into FAQ or politely told to "look online to see if anyone else has had similar issues" (Pronounced: Please just send us your [email protected]#$% money and then go away!!!!) Inmotion has real live people who are knowledgeable and helped us resolve our issue. So far so good....

I have been using their shared hosting for years now and recently moved one site to Wordpress hosting. I am very happy with the performance of their servers, but more importantly, when you crash your website in the middle of the night, you can go to Chat and immediately find someone with technical skills to help you even if it is not their problem.

I have been using inmotionhosting for a few years now 5+ I believe and they have been the backbone to my web development business. The support is amazing even on shared hosting. They are a great value with amazing support. (Shout out to Bryan W. and others who have helped me troubleshoot or fixed an issue)

Have used InMotion with clients for close to ten years. The prices are a great value; saved one client around $700 a year by switching. The service is excellent and support is helpful, kind, and efficient.

This review is for their dedicates servers, and specifically the one meant for wordpress. Their servers are way cheaper than WP Engine. Like WP Engine said I should get a $2000/month plan at the least, but they recommend the $3000/month server for my traffic. First of all, never take one opinion, especially if it's biased. I'm so glad I didn't fall into that trap, because my site barely produces enough ad revenue to break even with that price. I pay $160 a month with Inmotion for the essential wordpress dedicated server, and its performance is great for my site, which is javascript and image heavy, all the way up to about 4000 live users. That is after several optimizations, which their support helped me with. It seems like support from big companies is always hit or miss, and Inmotion is the same. Many of their dedicated server support reps are knowledgeable, but sometimes they suggest contradicting opinions about something, which leaves me wondering what to do. But overall, their support is decent, and for the money, their dedicated servers are excellent. I would recommend Inmotion to anyone in need of a dedicated server.

I used these guys for awhile then switched to oowdomains.com instead because I liked their setup better and their cheaper for hosting services. I had good experience with them though. Just preferred others more.

I have been with InMotion for over a year on a VPS. Usually, I can handle backend server issues and configurations myself like installing and running CSF, Maldet, configuring the MariaDB database to be optimal, configuring the server to use PHP-FPM and OpCache (configuring OpCache to be optimal), re-configuring ports and setting up secure SSL/TLS Cipher suites and so-on. I am very comfortable at using the command terminal and running commands to maintain the server. However, if I am unsure on resolving a issue or configuring something myself, I contact Tech Support. They are very helpful and work with you on getting issues resolved. Any issue I had that I raised with Tech Support was resolved during the first and only transaction.My experience with this company has been extremely great thus far and hopefully it stays that way. The best and most helpful web hosting I've come across hands down. Never had any problems with them regarding tech or anything regarding billing whatsoever. Anybody who needs fast and reliable web hosting, should try them today.

I switched to InMotion from a hosting service that was trying to force me to buy their very expensive email program. I have been happy with In Motion and now that they make more Technical help available 24 hrs a day, it has been great. Keep it up!

Tech Support was patient and thoroughI chatted with Tech Support with a PHP question for my WP installation. I once again found InMotion's tech support chat to be excellent. My tech was patient and thorough, and answered all of my questions while I learned.Awesome!

Great customer service. I receive prompt replies 24/7 from a knowledgeable and technical engineer. Bold Grid being integrated and included with their hosting is a HUGE plus for me. That's about $60/year I don't have to spend extra for a subscription which comes included free with my hosting.
