I am surprised to see so many bad reviews for Hot Topic/ Box lunch.I have shopped at Hot Topic for years, more so online the last 7 and Box Lunch I am a newer customer. Every purchase I have made with Hot Topic has gone smoothly except for one minor incident. A phone case I purchased was described as compatible for a certain iphone but it did not fit mine it was meant for a different size iphone. The issue was resolved fast. All my purchases have arrived in good time, no damage no missing items. Box Lunch no issues.

The first order took forever to be…

The first order took forever to be delivered to the store. I was able to pick up item from The Premiter Mall without a problem. When I ordered the second item had it shipped to the store they gave me 7 days. I work Monday through Friday 6am to 9pm. On the 7th day they canceled the order. Mind you the mall doesn't open till 12 pm on Sunday. I was on my way to pick it up when they emailed me it was canceled. Now I have to wait 4 to 7 days to get my money back. This is not how you do business. I only dealt with them because my 9 year old grandchildren wanted these items very disappointed.

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE

So I live in AK and I was going to have a necklace that I wanted shipped to my P.O Box but then I decided to have it ship to my closest store because it was easier for me to do. For a while all it was telling me is that it was partially shipped so I contacted BoxLunch customer service and just got my email and HUGE thank to Alexander in customer service for his help! My package has been there since the 13 but because I never received and email telling me it was there he let me know he was going to call and inform them of the situation. I’m so thankful for their WONDERFUL customer service!!

Easily My Favorite Store

So I'm sure everyone has heard of Hot Topic which I'd say isn't the best store, but for some reason their lesser known store Box Lunch is amazing!! I've been a rewards member for a few years and all of my experiences have been positive. They have the best sales and even greater merchandise. They honor online discounts in store, they give rewards discounts that for me have ranged between $5 and $30, ship to store is FREE, and the employees are so helpful and fully invested in making sure you get the best deal. Just yesterday I bought an enamel pin online that normally would've been $8.90 plus tax, but betwen the sale and rewards discount, it came out to $1.77!! Definitely would shop here again and would recommend it to anyone into pop culture merchandise.
